 Il Joshua Tree Pub nasce a Firenze il 18 novembre del 1997 dal desiderio di lavorare in un ambiente piacevole e dalla constatazione di essere assidui frequentatori di pub.
Il nome è una dedica all'album degli U2 di cui siamo fan e promotori del fan club italiano.
Dovremmo usare tante belle parole per spiegarvi cosa è il "Joshua", farci tanti complimenti e della buona pubblicità, ma questo lo lasciamo sempre fare ai nostri amici e clienti. Per chi non c'è mai stato diciamo che il nostro lavoro è ispirato alla ricerca del nostro divertimento. Il pub per tradizione non si ispira mai ad attrazioni ad effetto, a coreografie allettanti ma a familiarità, calore, buona birra, musica di qualità con prezzi il più popolari possibile.
Per ottenere ciò diamo la possibilità di bere la nostra birra a prezzi più bassi nelle ore di happy hour, ben 5 ore su nove di apertura. Inoltre per far in modo che tutte le sere si crei un'atmosfera piacevole e diversa dalle altre mettiamo a disposizione il nostro impianto dj a chiunque voglia condividere la propria musica con gli altri.
Per noi il PUB è una casa lontano da casa e questo spazio virtuale che da oggi trovate in rete è un modo per continuare a essere sintonizzati con tutto ciò che giornalmente accade, rimanendo informati sulle novità e attività in corso.

The Joshua Tree came to be November 18th, 1997 in Florence born out of a desire to work in a pleasant ambience.
The name sake is a dedication of sorts to the corresponding U2 album of which we are fans and enthusiastic, italian fan club promoters.
We ought to explain, using a multitude of laudable words, what "The J.T." is, giving ourselves heaps of compliments and good advertisement; but, we'd rather leave all that to our clients and friends (who we like to believe give us good publicity ).
For anyone who has never been, we'd say that our work is meant to make your relaxation and social time more enjoyable. Isn't it by tradition a pub's objective to provide a sense of familiarity, warmth, good beer and quality music at the most reasonable price?? Our happy hour runs for five hours everday in our attempt to keep our prices as low as possible. We also look to diversify our evenings by inviting to dj whomever has interest in sharing their musical preferences.
These dj evenings have never failed to be entertaining while relieving us the burden of always playing the same music!!
